I ordered a duck confit tortellini. I really like that they used duck instead of chicken. The noodle, however, should be a little bit softer.

Ate at Fat Hen yesterday with a friend. We utilized a City Gilt certificate for a 4 course and a wine pairing. We had the best meal! Everything was delicious and the wines were well paired with the food. Service was also impeccable! Thank you for a memorable meal!
Such a wonderful restaurant and the food and the wine was amazing. There are very few upscale less traditional Italian restaurants in and around Boston but this will now enter the rotation of places I will go regularly. The pastas were amazing and the service was beyond impeccable. I recommend the chefs course, which was a small dish provided by the chef made uniquely that day. Overall an amazing experience and will definitely be back again!
Had a perfect night out with a friend here. We loved the chic decor and there were so many things on the menu we were excited to try. The Milanese pork was outstanding !! It’s a must. Great cocktails too. Will be coming back!

We had an AMAZING dinner here. Definitely recommend doing the chefs choice. Every single dish was explained to us by the chef who obviously put a lot of time and thought into the dishes. We both agreed that this was one of the best meals we've probably ever had. Certainly will be coming back.
What an absolute neighborhood gem. Wonderful space/ambience. Staff is over the top with courtesy and knowledge. Food was timed perfectly despite being there on a Saturday at peak time. The kitchen had it all under control and the servers made sure everything got where it was going on time. Speaking of the food...WOW....such a unique menu and very blatantly designed by a chef with years of education and experience. Each dish was a combination of opposing flavors which came together to create a perfect harmony. You don't create these type of dishes by chance...there is some serious skill in the kitchen at Fat Hen. Wine list was superb, signature cocktails looked amazing but the wine list honestly spoke to clearly to my heart that I had to opt for a paired four course dinner. I was not disappointed. Rib eye and the scallop crudo stood out, but it was all simply decadent. 10/10 will be back.
I loved every. single. bite. The care was in every detail- the texture of the pasta, the complexity/ plating of each dish, and the quiet elegance of the interior design. The portion sizes were perfect. The wine I paired with my meal was delightful. Even the dessert impressed. I had the a glass of pino noir to drink, the squash raviolis for my main, and split the chocolate mousse for dessert. This is the kind of place I am always looking for- unassuming, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. Keep up the great work! I'll be back soon!
What a great place. Different than others, not what you'd expect from a new brewery. Lots of different styles leaning on English. ones. Plenty of meat pies, very tasty. Super coz spot, plenty of parking across the street. Amazing staff and cool ownership. Definitely a gem to be visited time after time
